Q. What is Sun Sentinel Insider?
Sun Sentinel Insider is a Subscriber Rewards program that thanks and rewards Sun Sentinel print subscribers for their loyalty with discounts, giveaways and other perks. Sun Sentinel Insider features FREE passes to advance movie screenings; concerts tickets, sporting events, stage shows and other prizes, including Subscriber-only events.

Q. How do I enter contests or request tickets?
A. Once registered, members can enter contests on the Sun Sentinel Insider website. It’s easy! Just click on the button under the contest or event. You’ll see your name and address and a button to confirm your request. Each contest or ticket request must be made individually. Only one member request can be entered at a time.

Q. How do I print coupons from the site?
A. You must be logged on to print coupons from the site. Coupons can be printed directly from the Deals page.

Q. How do I retrieve my account number to register?
A. Members can retrieve their account number for registration by going to Manage My Subscription -- please enter your full name (first and last name) and e-mail address listed on your subscription account, and your account phone number (i.e.9545555555) and house number (i.e 3255 -- enter the number of your address). Once you have submitted your information your account number can be found on your account page Please click here now.

Q. What if my name is spelled wrong or other information is not correct or I to need to my update email address?
A. Members can correct any error in their account information by calling customer service at 1-800-548-6397 or on our customer website, go to Manage My Subscription -- please enter your full name (first and last name) and e-mail address listed on your subscription account, plus either your account number OR your account phone number (i.e.9545555555) and house number (i.e 3255 -- enter the number of your address).  Please click here now. Once you have signed in you can then make your changes, it takes 48 – 72 hours you’ll automatically see the changes on the Sun Sentinel Insider site.

Q. How will I know about member events, tickets and discounts?
A. Contests, ticket offerings and events will be posted each month on the Sun Sentinel Insider web-site and we will send out alert emails with updated information.

Q. Is there a limit to the number of contests I can enter?
A. No, but you may only enter each contest once and only one contest entry per subscriber household is allowed. Your chances of winning are not increased by entering the contest more than once because duplicate contest entries are expunged. We understand that you may not remember if you previously entered a contest and if you accidentally enter more than once, we will omit all but the original entry.

Q. Can I bring a guest who is not a member to a Sun Sentinel Insider event?
A. Yes, please do. Most events offer each member entrance for two. On occasion there are more. You may bring whomever you wish as your guest, however, only members are eligible for prize drawings.  

Q. How will I know if I won something?
A. Winners are notified via the email address or US Mail supplied on their valid contest entry form. After winners have all been notified, the first name, last name of each winner is posted to the Sun Sentinel Insider website under Winners List. If we need to reach a winner on short notice we will use the home phone and alternate phone numbers to contact you.

Q. What if I win tickets to an event but find that I cannot attend?
A. If you find you cannot attend, please email us at insider@sunsentinel.com so that the tickets may be offered to another member. As event tickets are always limited, we do keep a waiting list and another member will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Q. How do the free advance movie screenings work?
A. The Sun Sentinel along with other local media outlets host special advance screenings of upcoming new movies, usually the week before the movie opens in theaters nationwide. Passes are required for admittance however having a pass does not guarantee seating. Just like the airlines, advance screenings can sometimes be "overbooked" when more passes are distributed than there are actual seats. You are strongly encouraged to arrive at least one hour early as seating is limited to theater capacity on a first-come, first-serve basis only. Neither the Sun Sentinel nor the theatre is responsible for seating over capacity. Screenings are monitored for unauthorized recordings and cell phones with camera and video capabilities are not permitted inside the theater.

Q. Is there a limit to the amount of coupons I can use?
A. No. If you’re an eligible Sun Sentinel Insider member, take advantage of the offers as frequently as you like! Note: Most Sun Sentinel Insider offers and promotions include an expiration date or "while supplies last" clause. Make sure you pay attention to the information on your coupons!
